Atlantic City Lives
Poems by Peter Murphy with
Wood Engravings by Michael McGarvey
Port Press, 2017
In this latitude where even hurricanes become disorganized before slamming into shore, there is no barrier to retard the unnatural disasters spun into motion. The odds plunge like high school students dropping out of class, like chips falling between cracks in the boardwalk where a family squats in summer, having rented their home to tourists who've come to game.
